Makeover Monday: Energy Use at 10 Downing St in 2017

The Makeover Monday for week 4 2019 is about the energy use at 10 Downing Street, colloquially known in the United Kingdom as Number 10, is the headquarters of the Government of the United Kingdom and the official residence and office of the First Lord of the Treasury, a post which, for much of the 18th and 19th centuries and invariably since 1905, has been held by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. What works well?

  • Buttons allows you to see the data for 24 hours, week or 4 weeks.
  • Showing the main KPIs in cardview with context its useful.
What I did?
  • Showed the average electricity use by month.
  • Grouped the months in quarter to identify patterns.
  • Used blue color for energy.
  • Added a monthly average trend.
  • Used one shared axis for hours at the end of the charts.
  • Put bold the monthly top 4 Total kwH.
So with that, here is my Makeover Monday for week 4 2019.
